Lahore: Sensational Pakistani singer and emerging name in Bollywood Ali Zafar is celebrating his 32nd birthday on Friday (today).

Ali Zafar was born to two professors at the Punjab University on 18th of May 1980.
After topping in his matriculation exams from Beaconhouse School Systems, he entered the Government College of Lahore, before graduating from the National College of Arts as a painter.

Ali Zafar reached to the heights of the success with his three successful hits in the Bollywood. Zafar has performed in Tere Bin Laden, Mere Brother ki Dulhan with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan and in London Paris New York.
He was recently awarded with Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2012 for Best New Talent.

The superstar has worked as a model for several commercial advertisements, before acting in some television serials. But however, Ali Zafar came into the limelight when he was seen in the music video of Preeto sung by Abrar-ul-Haq.
After achieving early success, Ali Zafar made his debut as a musician with Huqa Pani ­– which was an instant hit – followed by two more albums, Masty and Jhoom.

But however, he surprised everyone, showing complete versatility, when he sung beautiful folk and Sufi renditions in the Coke Studio sessions.
