Dabangg-2 lands record business in Pakistan
Dabangg-2 opened to a thunderous response at the Pakistani box office grossing the largest ever box office revenue of 1 crore and 17 lacs on the opening night and 3 crore business over the first weekend alone.
In a telephonic conversation with the Amjad Rashid, chairman of IMGC Global, the official distributors of Dabangg-2, expressed pleasure over the movie’s business in Pakistan. In response Amjad Rashid also invited Salman Khan to visit his fans in Pakistan. Chulbul Pandey’s charm seems to have worked again as viewers take to the cinemas to experience the phenomenon again.
Clad in a khaki uniform, dark shades thrust down back collar and thin moustache adorning upper lip, Chulbul Pandey continues to crush down criminals in the most logic defying action sequences and solves crime mysteries in a shockingly simple manner in the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster.
Boosting item number by one of the most coveted Bollywood beauties, Kareena Kapoor, Dabangg-2 sees Chulbul Pandey in an all new setting at the Kanpur Chowki, as a loving husband, son and brother.
The movie, which is Arbaaz Khan’s first directorial venture, and the 2nd installment to his previous production Dabangg, has been busy grossing the largest profits any Bollywood flick has ever witnessed and crossed the earlier highest grosser, Talaash, by many a million in the first few days.
