The production of the first film under the banner of MiRaqsm media is in full swing in Karachi. The cast includes Fahad Mustafa, Eman Ali, Manzar Sehbai and Sanam Saeed. Fahad and Sanam are being featured on the big screen for the first time while Manzar Sehbai and Eman Ali have made a mark at the box office in the recent past. The movie has five songs knitted in the script, which is written by veteran writer and director Sarmad Sehbai. This will be Sarmad Sehbai’s cinematic premiere. He has previously created critically acclaimed made for TV features like “Fankar Gali”, Toba Tek singh”, “Bachoon ka park, “Naya Qanoon” and “Saugandi” to name a few. Anjum Shehzad is behind the camera as the director of the movie. Anjum is credited with recent hits like “Khuda aur mohabbat”, “Mora piya”, “Talafi”, “Kabhi kabhi” and has won two Lux style awards for best director for “Pehla chand” and “Wo tees din.” Fahad Mustafa has bravely accepted completely different characters from his television work and has two roles in the movie. Sanam Saeed who is renowned as a sound performer on television is making her much-awaited debut on the silver screen. Manzar Sehbai has returned to the Pakistani cinema after working in India and can be seen at his best. He takes a completely different persona from his role in BOL, which won him many hearts, despite playing the antagonist. This time around too, he will win over the audience with his complex and layered performance. Eman Ali also has two roles in this movie and has been preparing for them for the last 3 months. There are a few more surprise appearances in the film, which will delight the audience. Details of the other cast members will be made public soon.

This is a completely Pakistani film as no foreign technician or singer is contributing. The processing will also be done completely in Pakistan. According to the producers of the movie, Badar Ikram and Khurram Rana, negotiations with distributors are under way and release details will be finalized soon. Stunning sets are constructed at a local studio in Karachi where filming is continuing day and night. It is expected that the recording will be finished by January and the post production will be done concurrently in Karachi. This movie is expected to be a milestone in the revitalized film industry of Pakistan.
