Gul-e-rana, a Review of the episodes so far!
When the drama serial Gul-e-Rana was first aired much was already being talked about the drama serial. The drama has been aired thrice and many of the fans who have been watching are absolutely mesmerized by the amazing performance and plot of the drama.
Gul-e-Rana’s relation with her father which has been shown in the initial episodes absolutely is amazing. Behroze Khan who is Gul-e-Rana’s(Sajjal Ali) father has recently killed every role his has performance. The drama is a smooth transition serial that witnesses Behroze Khan being a very caring and loving family man. However, an unfortunate accident results in his death. Gul-e-Rana, her sister and mother a forced to move into a new place living under the supervision of their father’s step brother.
The drama shows the fact the his uncle is very kind whereas on the other hand, his wide and daughter are the complete opposite and it turns out to be a different story. Adeel(Feroze Khan) is the only son of Gul-e-Rana’s uncle. He has alot of money that he owns and one thing he isn’t surely ashamed of. Adeel likes the fact that women fight over him whereas he does not give them attention. He goes to the extend of telling his phuphos where they stand in his life.
Commenting on the drama so far, it seems that the veterans are bagging strong performances as compared to the youngsters. Another disappointing thing in the drama according to the critics was the fact that Sajjal Ali does show strong characters but her look remains to be the same all the years she has been here.
Although the drama has strong lighting and support but the plot of the drama isn’t so amazing or special. The monotonous thing is that the lead actor doesn’t catch your attention and the female actress is like all the other women you might have seen. The drama seems to be going in the predictable direction and then would end in the same way.
Although it not possible the Gul-e-Rana will fulfill her father’s dreams and repetitive obsession of Adeel’s phophus insisting him to marry their daughters is somewhat irritating. The drama is going on smooth roads with noting extraordinary going on or expected.
