Pakistani cinematography is reaching new levels by each releasing movie. The earnings of the movies is also increasing which is a good sign for Pakistanis and something to be proud of. The industry was on the verge of ending but all associated with it have been able to give it a new life. In this article we will be discussing the all time highest grossing Pakistani movies.

1. Waar

Topping the list of all time worldwide grossing is Waar which was released in 2013. This movie was set to start the revolution in the industry and there was a commendable audience. The movie included stars like Shaan Shahid, Hamza Abbasi and Ayesha Khan. The movie is set to have earned Rs.34.65 crore (US$3.4 million).

2.Bin Roye

Second in the list is Bin Roye. The movie was directed by Momina Duraid, Shahzad Kashmiri and production responsibilities were under Momina Duraid. The cast included some big names of media industry nowadays like Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Zeba Bukhtiar and Javed Sheikh. The movie has earned Rs. 24.5 crore(US$2.4 million) and is still running in cinemas.


The next movie in the list are Bol released in 2011. The movie earned Rs16.8 crore (US$1.6 million) and was a Shoman Production project starring singer Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Iman Ali and Humaima Malik.

4. Khuda Kay Liye

The next two movies in the list are Bol (2011) and Khuda Kay Liye (2007) respectively. The reason that they are mentioned together is that they were a Shoman Production project. Both the movies earned Rs16.8 crore (US$1.6 million) and Rs.15.06 crore (US$1.5 million) respectively.

The list of highest worldwide grossing Pakistani movies is wrapped up Wrong No released this Eid. The comedy movie emerged as one of the winners in the box office starring Danish Taimoor and Sohai Ali Abro. Still running in cinemas, this movie has earned Rs.14.75 crore (US$1.5 million).
