Humaima Malik ready to set fire with her TV debut in India

After making her debut with ‘Raja Natwarlal’ in Indian film industry opposite serial kisser Emraan Hashmi, Pakistani beauty Humaima Malik is now ready to set fire on the smaller screen with her Pakistani drama serial ‘Ijaazat’.

Ijazat is set to launch on Indian channel ‘Zee Zindagi’ which recently also aired many popular Pakistani dramas such as ‘Humsafar’, ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ and ‘Mera Naseeb’.

Drama serial ‘Ijaazat’ is the story of Sahil who is a film director and his writer wife, Seep who are madly in love with each other. Once Seep writes a character of the woman who fits her husband’s dream – a girl called Diya. Sahil gets obsessed with finding the perfect girl to play Diya and in due course meets Pares (Humaima Malik) and falls in love with her. Pares ends up disturbing Sahil-Seep’s marriage. Ijazat has been a hit in Pakistan and it will surely make its mark on Indian TV as well now that Humaima already has a huge fan following in India after her Bollywood debut.

Humaima is busy with a number of Bollywood projects these days and according to Times of India, she is currently working on the film ‘Sher’ directed by Soham Shah. She is also doing a Pakistani film, ‘Mission Allahu Akbar’.
