Pakistani movies have a realistic edge from movies across the border
Asim Raza is all geared up to entertain his audiences with the upcoming movie Ho Mann Jahan. The director is said to have a clear and set goals right from the very beginning. This can be seen from the fact that he had the role of every person in mind right from the word go.
The response he gave in a question as to how he set out to make the movie was:
“Ho Mann Jahaan details the experience of youngsters adhering to society approved standards rather their own will. So today when I got the chance to make a film, I immediately started with this idea.”
Raza stated that the movie was based on human emotions which made it a real reason as to why people would feel connected to it. He added that the movie was deemed to touch the hearts of many as it was very different from all the other movies currently being released in Pakistan.
“Human emotions are for sure going to be the main highlight of my movie. I am a firm believer that emotions add a lot of value to our lives. Ho Mann Jahaan is a story of emotions and I am sure that the audience will connect to my movie on the basis of those emotions,” he said.
Raza said that Pakistani movie had an edge of Indian movies due to the fact that they were more realistic.
“One of the reasons could be that our stories are quite different than Bollywood’s larger than life stories. They are more realistic and often picked from within the society we live in. I think it’s an added advantage and it may be the reason our dramas have become so popular in India because people find it realistic enough to believe.”
There is alot being talked about the movie Ho Mann Jahan which is due to release on the 1st of January 2016. The movie whose constituents are actors like Mahira Khan, Adeel Hussain, and Shehreyar Munawar coupled with the musical plot will surely hit high tides.
