Parineeti Chopra teases Ali Zafar on the sets of Kill Dill

Yash Raj Films’ next big venture Kill Dil, starring popular youth icons Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Ali Zafar has reportedly rescheduled shooting from October to September. Pakistani singer-turned Bollywood actor Ali Zafar recently confirmed the same in an interview.

Ali said he is extremely enthusiastic about the project as he is getting a chance to try his hands in action genre. He said, “I believe in transformation and don’t want to be a stereotype in the industry. The decision to opt YR’s flick Kill Dil is because I was keen to try action field.”

“They can type-cast (anyone), but the industry has also got the capability to look through that. I don’t think I was (ever) typecast. People think that comedy is easy, but it is the most difficult genre. If one can do comedy, then he can do anything. That is why I think Aditya Chopra offered me Kill Dil, which is an action film. So, I think one should not get typecast,” elaborated Ali.

Well known for his comedy roles, the actor was seen in movies like Tere Bin Laden, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and London Paris New York. Adding about his other project Aman Ki Asha, Ali said, “It might release on August 15. It is a comedy film. I am playing a Pakistani boy in it”.

As of now the actor will be seen in the movie titled Chashme Baddoor, a remake of the 1981 film with the same name. Releasing on 5th April, the movies also features Siddharth, Taapsee Pannu, Divyendu Sharma and Rishi Kapoor in the key roles.
