Mann Mayal – A review of the 2nd Episode

The second episode of the drama serial Mann Mayal continued on the same roads as the first one. The stars played the roles very well and the directions were also perfect. The scenes and sets were perfected executed to show the audience what they intended.

The episode portrays the type of family which Mannu has. They are class oriented and don’t allow anything below their class. Salahuddin explains this to Mannu that is impossible for them to get married because of this after they realize they had been in love for quite a bit. During the course o the first episode it was shown quite clearly that the two families were quite different.

Mannu’s father may have been appeared to be not being a traditional strict father but when time came he could over rule what his daughter wanted. One proposal was rejected but not because Mannu wasn’t interested but because it did not get a yes from the elders of the family.

This Episode is Beautifully directed; every single scene was brilliantly captured, it truly looked like it was a labour of love. Brilliant performances, beautiful visuals and the chemistry between all the actors makes an otherwise typical story a treat to watch. Mannu and Salahuddin are in love or they have just realized that they were in love for a long time. Although Salahuddin tried to be practical The first scene of the epi showed how different these two families were. The boy’s family was from Karachi therefore they were very modern, something which Mannu’s family found highly objectionable. The discussion .. Mannu does not want to get married but he still invites these people to see if they were a suitable match for her. The proposal was rejected not because of Mannu’s wishes but because the elders did not approve of it. The relationship Mannu has with her father is heart warming and it was one of those relationships which you want to see flourishing but the preview of the next episode suggested something entirely different.! #BiaAndSalahuddin Are very convincing as siblings. Their on screen chemistry and the difference in their personalities make their scenes enjoyable. Aiman Khan is a very confident actress with an undeniable screen presence. Mannu definitely takes the lead when it comes to taking a stand therefore I feel like I need to see Salahuddin making more of an effort. I must say that I like Maya Ali in the comic scenes much more than in the romantic scenes. Although we have seen Maya Ali play the bubbly girl over and over again but somehow she manages to excel in playing these characters every time. I have really enjoyed the comical element, the light scenes in these episodes and I hope that things don’t get too serious too soon.!! Love Salahu n Bia's nook jhoonk….Bia ka to bs chaly abhi agly scnd hi Mannu aur Salahu ki shadi krwa dy, dadi amma Love Salahu n Bia's nook jhoonk….Hehe! this drama a different feel but the overall impact would have been far more powerful if the script had a few mind blowing dialogues too – the sort which you hear in Khalil-ur- #MannMayal! *__*

Although Salahuddin is shown as a practical man but love gets the better of him and he continues the relation with Mannu which is surely to turn his life into a troublesome one soon. Everyone is anxious to see what happens if the strict family in terms of marriage see something like holding of hands between the two.

The role in the love story is dominated by the girl and she(Maya Ali) also pulls of the comedy side perfectly. Although it is expected that things will be getting serious in due course but for now the tone of the drama is quite good.
