Pakistani charming beauty Mahira Khan is all set to make her mark in Bollywood and WOW she begins her journey with none other than the superstar Shahrukh Khan in `Raees`.
Mahira is very lucky that she has been chosen to romance king Khan, leaving the other Bollywood Town divas far behind in the race. Any Bollywood actress would give up anything to be in her place.
The Pakistani TV serial `Humsafar` which was also telecasted on Indian channel Zee Zindagi recently, electrified the television ratings in India in 2014 and the Indian viewers fell under the spell of the Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan and the timeless beauty Mahira Khan’s love story.
Drama serial Humsafar became very popular and a hot favorite in India in the first place probably because of the presence of Fawad Khan who had already stolen many hearts and made an impact with his Bollywood debut `Khoobsurat` opposite Sonam Kapoor. Everyone was watching Humsafar mainly because of Fawad Khan but eventually Mahira Khans character an performance completely blew away everyone. Viewers were stunned by Mahira Khan’s performance in the drama.
The innocent and simple girl’s character played by Mahira Khan brought a charm to the character of Khirad, the turmoil that she went through depicts a journey that every woman can connect with. There was neither melodrama nor an excess of emotional wreckage unlike Indian soaps. Mahira came with a whiff of fresh air on-screen, setting the show apart from the regular saas-bahu arguments of Indian TV.
Mahira Khan made her film début with the Pakistani film `Bol` which was a huge hit, but it was only when `Humsafar` was aired in India, that she grabbed the attention of the people across the border. She has everything one needs to reach the top spot in Bollywood film industry.

I agree with u aswell as I have replied to Areesha. Bollywood tries to be soooo western that you cannot watch a Bollywood movie in family. There is no such thing as acting no more, all about glamour and intimacy!! Pakistani actors and actresses are even worse by imitated these and running away to india for films and to become so called ‘stars’. I hate all their silly ‘English’ and there accents, they make me laugh. Get a grip and don’t forget your roots. Always remember ‘you can take the Pakistani out of Pakistan, but you cant take Pakistan out of the pakistani’!!
I agree with you as I did so with Areesha. Pakistani’s need to remember their roots. All Bollywood and Hollywood including those in dramas try to be soooo western that you cannot watch a movie with the family. The vast majority of them make me laugh with their so called ‘English’ and that silly accent. Remamber, you cant take the Pakistani out of Pakistan but you cant take Pakistan out of the Pakistani.
Mahira was fabulous in humsafar and so was Fawad but its annoying when they all run to India forgetting what life is really about. They forget their own people, language, culture, dress code etc!! silly wannabe’s.
Bolloywood tries to be Hollywood, all about glamour and exposure. Believe me they’ll never get there with those English accents and with that music from no where!!
