Do You Like To See Pakistani Artists Performing In Indian Movies?
From the days when Noor and Sana would grace the screen while doing the traditional pelvic thrusts in (ridiculously loud not to mention figure hugging clothes revealing a tad bit too much skin); to Shaan being the indifferent hero (aka Gajjar Singh) replete with dhoti and a stick, Lollywood movies have come a long way.
Such monumental milestones have been accomplished by our very own Shaan, Fawad Khan, Humaima Malik and Mahira Khan that these chiseled and extremely groomed actors are now creating tsunamic waves in the enchanting world of Bollywood. With the ethereal Mahira Khan starring in “Raees” with none other than the King of Bollywood to Fawad Khan coming in yet another enthralling period film with the diva Sonam Kapoor, Pakistani actors seem to be seen in every other movie across the border. Despite not all making it the excruciatingly touch cut of A-List actors, stars like Humaima Malik and Imran Khan are seen in B- grade movies like “Creature” and “ Raja Natwarlal.”
The latest buzz is that Faizan Khawaja and Shehroz Sabzwari have also joined the Bollywood club. Honestly, it’s refreshing and exciting to see our tinsel town’s very own celebrities getting recognition and adulation for doing movies in our neighboring counterpart.
Youngsters like Urwa and Marwa Hoccane have also been spotted by potential directors like David Dhawan to star in upcoming films in 2015. Katrina and Kareena will probably have to move over for quintessential beauties like Mahira Khan and Mawra Hoccane.
The fact that Pakistani actors are going to India, is a source of pride and delight not just for our media fraternity but for the country in general. However, given how amazing the realm of exposure can be for our celebrities, they should under no circumstances forget their roots.
Once overseas our stars represent our country in more ways than one and given the glare of media that surrounds them perpetually, invading their privacy an intervening in their personal space. It is at times like these that actors like Veena Malik need to carry themselves with dignity and demand respect by giving the same to these celebrities. Of course, Fawad Khan had proved to be quite solid and well rooted in this matter, hopefully our future celebrities will follow his footsteps.

Now the problem I see is that the Pakistani drama industry are making similar stories so our actors need to get on the Silver Screen (That is the movies) to be known as versatile actors
The problem is that we discourage our Actors to do bad things like dancing on item songs but we prefer watching Indian movies involving item songs …. !
now what do you think should a Pakistani actor do ?
When he/she does modest roles … we don’t support their projects and prefer watching Indian movies …. & when they cross the modesty limits like indians to gain our attention then we blame them
the only reason why our stars go to India is our love for Bollywood !!

we call our stars by bad names but if i tell you that some bollywood movie is releasing with Katrina Kaif’s item song … we all will have an advanced booking of the show

i agree on maya but it there chose right we can only give advise. im not saying that shoundnt go to india but im only saying that they should remmamber ur muslim don’t cross the limit like “Imran abbas , sara loren ,humaima malik , ali zafar … you disappointed me” as maya said they disappoint me too. also amir khan does disappoint to a bit because in the moive 3 idoits were there was a scene where all 3 of them get drunk they all actually got drunk they actually drinking so did amir khan. so my advise to the new actors that r going to india be really care full DON’T CROSS THE LIMIT.

I am 100 percent agree with you maya just for money they sell their identity as a Pakistani or being a Muslim why any indian film star never come to Pakistan because our tv artist bik gane Han Chand pasue ki Khatir shame on you and female artist want tobe Nangi less clothes they forget they belong ta Muslim families I really ashamed to see their pictures my

I would just like to tell them somethings as an advice … Take it or leave it upto them
1) Never take your religion fore granted like fawad was seen in a temple wih sonam to pray for the promotion of the movie … A muslim who bows in front of any other stuff whether by heart or not is no longer a Muslim
2) You people have gained all the respect because of your modest roles in pakistan . i guess it is our right that our stars guard their modesty … keep away from drinking , dancing etc
3) don’t lose your identity …don’t adopt indian avatars … and at the end of work prefer to live and move about in Pakistan … … don’t permanently shift to india
4) prefer to work in pakistan … work in bollywood only if you are offered a movie with A category stars like the Khans ,hrithik , ranbir etc
