Exclusive: Sohai to do an Item Number for movie ‘Wrong Number’

After Mehwish Hayat, Humaima Malik, Saba Qamar and Zhalay Sarhadi it’s now Pakistani beauty Sohai Ali Abro’s turn to show some hot moves on an item number ‘Selfiyan Re Selfiyan’ for movie ‘Wrong Number’.

The model turned actress, who is all set to mesmerize audiences on the big screens, will soon be seen donning her dancing shoes for a uniquely cell phone branded song in Lollywood movie Wrong Number directed by actor Yasir Nawaz.

In a clever marriage of content and product placement Sohai who plays the female lead opposite the Jalaibee’s Danish Taimoor in the light hearted comedy, waves around a Rivo cell phone.

Pakistani films like Main Hoon Shahid Afridi and Namaloom Afraad were also awash with subtle product placements.

An inside source revealed that the actress who typically plays girl-next-door character will be turning up the heat for the song.

“Audiences will get to see Sohai in a mehndi green sharara teamed with a hot pink blouse in the song. The whole thing has a very Bollywood feel to it.” he said.

Avoiding the term ‘item number’, our source, revealed that the setting of the song is going to be an aqeeqa function with a lot of extras.

Some of the cast will also appear in the song which includes Jawed Sheikh, Shafqat Cheema, Danish Nawaz and Nadeem Jafri.

Slated for an Eid ul Fitr release, is in the works and the director Yasir Nawaz believes that his movie will definitely be a treat for all the cinema goers.
