Former Actress of Bollywood Mamta Kulkarni has converted to Islam.
Former Actress of Bollywood Mamta Kulkarni has converted to Islam. She is living in Kenya with her Husband “Vicky Goswami” who also recently converted to Islam. The couple got married on May 10, 2013 and some sources told that they are living in Nairobi, Kenya. In 1997, Mamta’s husband Vicky Goswami was arrested in UAE in drug smuggling case. He was sentenced for 25 years but she was released in November 2012. Some media reports said that his sentence was reduced due to model conduct. His conversion to Islam was also one of major reason of reduction.
Goswami converted to Islam and got married with Mamta Kulkarni when he was in jail. Mamta was also managing her husband’s hotels business.
Mamta Kulkarni was termed as most bold actress of Indian film industry in 90’s. 41 years old actress & Model was remained active in Bollywood from 1991 to 2002. From 2002, she is out of screen due to her personal reasons. In last ten years, Mamta has declined lots of acting and dancing offers and now she has decided to stay away from media.
On other hand, Pakistani electronic and print media haven’t reported this news. On other hand, Indian media is showing bias report on Mamta Kulkarni marriage.

The only reason for their conversion is merely to allow her husband to escape from the prison sentence. It is so unfair that one is compelled to convert in order to get clemency. Where is justice here????? If her husband were to stick to being a Hindu, he would still be in prison. Why islam….. y is it good … could you explain…. you people also go to mazar, worship stones, how many muslim families in india do u see are highly educated, these people have just one job and that whole world know including you. I know why people are converting to islam is … they are forced to do so, they are threatened to do so. Tell me if i am wrong. I am not against any religion.
