Lahore: Justice Umar Ata Bandial on Friday took oath as Chief Justice Lahore High Court.

He was sworn in by Punjab Governor Latif Khosa at ceremony held at the governor’s house.

He was appointed as the LHC chief justice after Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed was elevated as the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Justice Azmat Saeed was also sworn in by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
