Karachi: Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has reposed his confidence in the leadership of Jamat-e-Islami for making an alliance with religio–political in the next elections, saying that Munawar Hasan’s enemies can’t even say him corrupt and JI won’t have any problems to declare assets of its members.

In an interview to Mubashir Luqman on private channel, he said that alliance can be made with the party which is corruption free and can declare assets of its members on demand.
If we do alliance with a party, it must declare its assets. Its members should pay their taxes properly and they do not blackmail you if corruption is unearthed against them, he said referring to the Indian government which has been formed with the alliances of different political parties and it is often seemed comprising with corrupts leaders.
“We have been in talks with political parties which are not part of the current political setup but we have not been decided so far to make alliance with any specific party,” Khan said.
About reports of Shaikh Rasheed’s possible joining in PTI, he said that Shaikh is a leader of a separate party and he had been firmed consistently against the two major political parties of the country. Therefore we have united stand against the present political regime in the past four years.
“PTI’s economic policy will bring revolutionary change in the country and he will ensure you that I will sweep in the next elections likewise I said as a captain of Pakistan cricket team before the winning of World Cup,” Khan added.
PTI will present a detailed economic vision for the country which will be presented on 24th of August to the nation, he said. The economic policy will be a great step in changing the economic fortunes of our country.
He said that PTI had successfully completed its membership drive and 70 million people across the country have joined the party as member.
The PTI chairman said the tsunami has currently attained its form of around 30 to 40 percent and it would be converted into its original strength in the coming months.
