Pemra Issues Notice To Aamir Liaquat For Amateurish Behavior
Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has issued a show cause notice to Islamic scholar/host Aamir Liaquat and Geo Entertainment TV for airing inappropriate content during the Ramadan transmission.
The notoce states that, Geo Entertainment anchor Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain in his June 13 programme showed scenes of suicide. Pemra demands an explanation from the television channel by June 21, and questioned ‘why it should not ban the programme [Inaam Ghar]’.

During the show, Aamir Liaquat showd a very unprofessional and amateurish behavior and a few abusive words got aired, after which many complaints were received by Pemra.
Due to this, Aamir Liaquat has also been facing severe backlash from people and the Army officers for using Pakistan Army’s name and uniform in his promotional video.

Ramazan ka taqaddus ka khyal b nahi raha. Old ramazan programs were verysimple and good. teaching Islamic values but now they are ruining it all. fazool programs
