England and India meet in the final of the final Champions Trophy and will be a very interesting match with both teams in exceptional form. These teams both cruised through the group stage and both had easy wins against South Africa and Sri Lanka in the semi-finals. It has been the strength of India’s batting that has pushed them through to the final but they face a challenging prospect of the English bowling attack where James Anderson has been fantastic. Where trouble could arise for India is if they lose early wickets and the middle-order of the likes of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja gets exposed, especially since they haven’t had too much time batting in a game. Against a top-notch bowling attack that consists of James Anderson, Stuart Broad and now back Steven Finn, it may not be as easy for the Indian batsmen. Ravindra Jadeja has been Indian’s best bowler in the tournament with 10 wickets and if he can eke out even a little turn, he could be a dangerous proposition. This is because of his ability to bowl quick and flat, an attribute that makes it difficult for the batsmen to go under and hit it over the in-field.
